You can delete your account by clicking on the “Help” link. Then stroll to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Account.” You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete your account. Please reach out to us first at info@handymanchat.com before you delete your account, so we can learn how we can make your experience on Handyman Chat more rewarding!

Handymen have the choice of accepting payment in the form of cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, and/or Credit Card. Homeowners can see their Handyman’s available options listed in the Handyman’s profile. Customers may also contact the Handyman directly to determine the acceptable type of payment. Handyman Chat is not responsible for any of these payments or information. 

A Customer should report to Handyman Chat if they experience some kind of fraudulent activity or feel they are the target of a scam while utilizing the services provided on Handyman Chat’s Platform. Handyman Chat welcomes any information or advance notice that a Customer or Handyman is using a fake profile and/or fraudulent or wrongful information. If prompted by Customers, and after a reasonable inquiry by Handyman Chat’s service representatives, Handyman Chat may conduct a background check of a Handyman or Customer if it suspects, in its sole discretion, the profile is fake, fraudulent, or contains obscene/wrongful information. Handyman Chat will endeavor to take the necessary steps to address the particular prohibited activity, including correcting, deactivating, or blocking the Handyman or Customer’s account.

Handyman Chat is a middleman focused on quickly, easily, and cost-effectively connecting handymen to customers. Being a Customer is beneficial because you can directly communicate with handymen for the services you are looking for, and there are no hidden charges or fees! 

Creating a Customer Account on the Handyman Chat platform is completely free.

You can update or edit your profile information by selecting your profile picture in the top right-hand corner. Then click on “My Profile.” You will then be able to edit and add additional information as necessary. 

Once you connect with a Handyman, Handyman Chat is no longer responsible. Handyman Chat’s platform is designed solely to connect customers to handymen. Any kind of delay, miscommunication, damage, or dispute is solely between the parties involved with the job, not Handyman Chat.

To view a Handyman’s ratings and reviews, click on their profile picture and stroll to the bottom of the profile page. You will then be able to see the Handyman’s reviews, ratings, and other related information. 

Handymen

To register as a Handyman, follow the below steps: 

  • Click on “Become a Handyman” located at the top of the webpage or within your applications profile.
  • Select the categories of services that you would like to offer.
  • Enter general information pertain to your skill or hid details you desire to keep discreet. 
  • Choose your subscription plan, select whichever is suitable for your business, and you are ready to go. 

Handyman Chat is not responsible for any payments between Customers and Handymen on the Handyman Chat Platform. A Handyman should contact the Customer directly for payment. 

You will receive a chat notification from the Customer requesting details a job they desire to be worked on through Handyman Chat's message system. Additionally, the Customer may contact you offline via email, phone, or whatever other contact information you provide on your profile. 

As a service provider you will be allowed to get in direct contact with users concerning jobs they have posted. Once you have communicated with that user through Handyman Chat. They will always be in your contact list and you will always receive notification via chat concerning new task they have posted.

A one-time payment for the subscription period gives you unlimited access to jobs posted by Customers. Once you receive acceptance by the Customer of a job offer, there are no additional fees or commissions that must be shared with Handyman Chat. You retain 100% of the money earned from the job.

No, this is a violation of the Terms & Conditions. A Handyman cannot contact customers if their subscription plan expires. Once your subscription plan expires, you will be unable to chat with Customers and will only be able to view Customer’s posts. Your account will remain active until it is deleted, but you will be unable to access the Handyman Chat features until you renew your subscription plan. 

Yes, Handyman Chat is free for 30 days for first-time registrants. Credit Card information is required to initiate this free trail. After this period expires your account will roll over to the 1 Month subscription plan, which is charged at a monthly rate of $29.99 unless cancelled.
