  1. How to request a Handyman?

There are two ways Customers can request the service of a Handyman:

  1. Customers can go to the homepage and find a Handyman nearby by using the Handyman Chat search function and entering the desired Handyman criteria; or 
  2. Customers can post a job request for the particular type of service they are looking for and a Handyman can contact the Customer with an offer.
  1. How to contact the Handyman?

You can contact the Handyman through the message board via the Handyman's profile or you can go to the Handyman’s profile where you can locate their contact information to contact them offline. 

  1. Can I select a Handyman based on ratings? 

Yes, Customers can select their desired Handyman by filtering the different options available on the Handyman Chat search function on the webpage. The filters include by distance, by activity, category, or by rating. 

  1. How can I find a Customer or Handyman near me? 

Customers can use the location filter to view Handymen or Customers within a desired radius of their location. 

  1. How to reset my password? 

To reset your password, click on the “Forgot password?” button on the log in page. You will be prompted to enter the e-mail address you used to register your account. Once entered, you will receive a link in your e-mail and by clicking on that link you can reset a password.

  1. Can Customers share their location on the Handyman Chat app? 

Yes, Customers can always share their location on the Handyman Chat Platform. By sharing your location, you allow the Handyman to easily reach your location to complete the job. This option is available only in the Handyman Chat message section after you have messaged the Handyman. 

  1. What if I face any technical issue related to the Handyman Chat application? 

You can always contact the Handyman Chat support team at info@handymanchat.com, and a Handyman Chat customer service representative will reach out to assist you. 

  1. How and when do I pay my Handyman? 

The terms of payment are negotiated directly between the Customer and the Handyman. Handyman Chat is not responsible for handling any payment terms, whether amount, timing, or method.

You can contact a Handyman Chat customer service representative via e-mail at info@handymanchat.com or through our contact us page.

  1. How to change the service category? 

To change or add a new service category, follow the below steps: 

  • Log in to your account and click on your profile 
  • Once your profile is open click on the “Add More Skills” 
  • Here you can add more categories based on the activities and services you wish to provide.
  1. How do I unsubscribe my subscription plan? 

You can cancel your subscription plan prior to the end of the current billing period by logging into your account and selecting “Cancel Subscription.” Such cancellation will be effective as of the end of the current billing cycle. Your account will remain active until it is deleted, but you will be unable to access the Handyman Chat features until you renew your subscription plan.
